Skinny Oreo Milkshake
Happy Friday, guys! I can honestly not even begin to tell you how happy I am that the weekend is almost here – what can I say, it’s been a long week! Plus, it’s my birthday this weekend! Not that I’m rubbing it in your face or anything, but if you don’t say happy birthday at least three times on Sunday, then you’re not getting any cake, because I’m totally childish like that.
Those who do wish me a happy birthday will be treated to a dee-lish-oush drink that tastes just like an Oreo cookie, but is actually low in fat and sugar. Except for the whipped cream on top. But the stuff out of the can is mostly air anyway and I’m pretty sure air is 0 ww points+.
Now, I’m never one for the whole drink-for-dessert thing. Who would want a milkshake when they could be delving into an ooey-gooey sundae or an amazing fudge cake? But this – I could totally enjoy this for dessert. I’m not exaggerating when I say this tastes exactly like an Oreo!
Total Time: 5 minutes
Yield: 1 tall glass
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup vanilla frozen yogurt
- 1/2 cup skimmed (fat-free) or semi-skimmed (low fat) milk
- 1 teaspoon hot fudge sauce
- 2 Oreos
Instructions
- Place the frozen yogurt and milk into a blender.
- Roughly break up the Oreos and add them to the blender with the hot fudge sauce.
- Blend on medium for around 5 seconds, or until fully blended.
- Pour into a glass and top with cream (or a low-fat substitute!), sprinkles and a mini Oreo.

I’m crazy about milkshakes and never thought of one being “skinny”. I see nothing about this not to like, and I’m thinking the kids will love it, too. Great!!
