Is it safe? Can I start bombarding you with Christmas recipes now? We’ve had Halloween and Thanksgiving, so I’m okay to start posting Christmas tree-shaped cookies and snowmen cupcakes, right?
Remember that homemade salted caramel sauce I shared with you earlier this month? Well I’ve found an absolutely amazing use for it. Can you guess what it is? The title kind of gives it away.
Hands up if you’ve started planning Christmas already. I know, we haven’t even had Thanksgiving yet but here in Europe, we don’t really do Thanksgiving, you know? I tried to celebrate it with My Official Treat Taster last year but he wasn’t having any of it.
It’s Friday and you know what that means, right? Cocktail time! Today’s cocktail is a little more tropical and summery than the previous drink posts because as of today…I’m on vacation! And that deserves some celebration, right?
I don’t really like mulled wine and the smells that came off this Cranberry Cider when it was in the pan smelled just like that so I didn’t have high hopes. After just one sip I was hooked and immediately went back to make another glass – that’s how good this is!
Let me introduce you to the Black Widow Cocktail – a spine-chilling combination of cranberry juice, strawberry vodka, white rum and triple sec which is sure to leave you, well, a little worse for wear if you drink too many of them.
If you’re wondering if this recipe is as simple as it looks, you’re totally right. Make up some hot chocolate, slice a marshmallow in half, stick chocolate chips on top, drop them into the drink and you’re good to go.
To make this toasted marshmallow milkshake you don’t even need to go outside – all of the marshmallow toasting is done using a mini kitchen blowtorch!
Sangria is just the perfect drink, don’t you think? Not only does everyone love sangria, but it’s so versatile that you can tailor it to suit your taste.
The tequila is just strong enough so you can taste a hint of it, but not so strong that it’s overpowering and leaves you mouth tasting like the inside of a tequila barrel.
Some extra-special people (that’s me) combine the two and throw a bit of chocolate in, too to make the on-the-go breakfasts of all on-the-go-breakfasts – a chocolate espresso smoothie.
Normally I’m not one for cucumber, but stick them in a cocktail and they’re not so bad, you know.
Who says you have to go to a fancy coffee shop and spend $5+ on a cup of coffee when you can make your own fun drinks at home?
You don’t have to use the syrup solely for this mojito – you could mix it with water or sprite for a child-friendly summer drink.
This skinny strawberry cheesecake smoothie is full of fruit and yummy things – whilst still being healthy and good for you!
Not only is this cooler perfect for adults, but you can also omit the coconut rum for a child-friendly option, too.
What is everything white sangria? Everything white sangria is what happens when you’re scrabbling around last minute to prepare a drinks post for Friday and haven’t got anything planned.
This is a full-sugar, full-fat frozen hot chocolate which is so amazing you won’t want to change a thing.
Can you think of a more perfect summer drink? It’s super-easy to make, requires only two ingredients (I’m sure you can guess what they are!!) and works so well on its own, with lemonade and in cocktails.
Let’s celebrate the imminent weekend with a cocktail or three. And not just any old cocktail, but a cute and girly fairytale-inspired cocktail.
With summer being pretty much in our faces right now, I thought I’d just accept the fact that spring has come and gone in the blink of an eye and embrace everything that summer has to offer. Mainly ice cream and frappuccinos.
Summer is definitely on it’s way and I couldn’t go on for a minute longer without sharing one of my favorite summer recipes with you – frozen sangria.
Packed with citrus flavors and a frosty texture, this drink screams summer, even if the temperature is barely into double digits where you are.
These cocktails have been tested my My Official Treat Taster who assures me these are fab.
Not only does this refreshing cocktail taste fabulous, it’s ombre starting at a peachy colour and ending in the cutest shade of pink.
I could totally enjoy this for dessert. I’m not exaggerating when I say this tastes exactly like an Oreo!
So instead of feeling bad when asking for a shot of vodka in my raspberry slushy with an innocent picture of a dog in a hat on the front, I make my own at home!
Are you planning on throwing an amazing New Year’s Eve party and need a hand with some exciting cocktail recipes? I’ve got you covered!
Can you think of anything better than a rich and smooth hot chocolate laced with caramel, nougat and even more delicious chocolate?
It’s Friday, which means it’s time for another drink recipe and because it’s only four days until Christmas, what better drink to serve than a cocktail?
Here’s a Christmas take on the traditional cosmopolitan recipe, which I’m very fond of. It’s one of those throw-everything-in-together recipes so you can quickly make a whole jug of it or easily put it together after you’ve had a few too many.
If you love refreshing fruity cocktails, loaded with fruit and other fresh flavors, you’ll love this – believe me.
The drink itself is colored red and the green of the limes and mint leaves make it perfect to serve during the festive season.
This takes 5 minutes to make, but it will take a few weeks before the flavors fully blend, so get a move on if you want this ready for Christmas time!
This Winter Snowflake Cocktail is perfect to enjoy on those chilly winter nights when all you want to do is snuggle up in front of the TV and keep warm.
Why pay for expensive branded vanilla vodka when you can make your own for a fraction of the cost?
And the subsequent lesson of the day is: Don’t throw all your Oreos and milk into the blender at the same time. The blender doesn’t like it and throws up all over the place.
I swapped the traditional fruit salad mix of fruits for typical fall fruits and added a touch warm spice to make it the ideal drink to snuggle up with on a chilly night.
I got the idea for this cocktail on vacation in Paris when we visited an ice bar. Have you ever been to an ice bar before? They are ah-maz-ing!
This is my all-time favorite summer drink. I discovered it over a year ago when My Official Treat Taster’s sister was staying with us on vacation.
