Until this year, I’d never realised how perfect red velvet desserts are for Christmas. I mean just look at these red velvet brownies. These deliciously ooey-gooey, delicately crisp on the outside and indulgently soft and almost melty on the inside brownies.
I know I’ve told you guys plenty of times how I hate traditional frosting made with butter and icing sugar, so these brownies are frosted with yoghurt frosting which works wonderfully with the rich flavour of the brownies.
These ooey-gooey brownies are sandwiches between a rich and buttery layer of Graham cracker crumbs and a sweet and sugary layer of toasted marshmallows.
I wasn’t planning on sharing these healthy chocolate chip cookie bars with you today, but they are THAT good that I couldn’t keep them to myself any longer and I thought they would do wonders to brighten up your Monday.
Tart blueberries, zingy lemon and creamy cheesecake come together in this dessert which is absolutely bursting with spring.
And although the citrus taste is very subtle, it works so so well with the creamy white chocolate filling and the ah-maz-ing crumbly texture of the topping.
These brownies have an amazing dense, fudge-like texture thanks to the Greek yogurt. Who says brownies need butter to be good?
No one can be overwhelmed, angry or upset when you have a face full of these chocolate peppermint brownies.
They’ve got the texture of a gooey brownie, sprinkled with chocolate chunks and cranberries, topped with amazing white chocolate frosting and drizzled with dark chocolate ganache.
An oaty, buttery Graham cracker base, layered with caramel and apples, topped with traditional cheesecake, layered with oaty crisp topping and smothered in caramel. What’s there not to love?
To me, s’mores are much more appropriate for fall. It’s the perfect camping weather, pleasant enough during the day, with a light chill in the air on an evening that makes you want to grab a blanket and edge closer to the fire. Yes, s’mores are definitely fall food.
They’re never going to win any beauty awards, but you know what? They’re so good that I don’t even care.
A chewy, comforting oatmeal bar saturated with delicious caramel and drenched in a velvet chocolate ganache – these bars are the epitome of chocolatey-caramel indulgence.
The cheesecake filling is fantastic though – the lemon juice and zest swirl into the fluffy filling and add a much-needed spring zing.
A sweet and sticky mixture of oats, cereal and chocolate chips – these bars are the perfect snack. They are so much better than anything similar made from muesli or anything you can buy at the store.
Okay, so maybe calling these Healthy Chocolate Chunk Brownies is pushing the boat out a little, but they’re healthier than regular brownies.
These Egg-Shaped Brownies only required egg shells to look festive – something which my fridge was full of!
More than your ordinary Krispie treat, these bars are made up of two layers – a crunchy milk chocolate layer and a gooey cream cheese layer.
These thick, gooey brownies are hiding a delicious secret that you’ll love when you find out! Each heart-shaped brownie bite has a square of chocolate baked inside.
I absolutely adore these millionaire shortbread bars. They are made of everything that I love – buttery, crumbly shortbread; thick, rich caramel; and smooth, milky chocolate.
This is the best recipe I have found for chocolate brownies – it came from Joyofbaking.com, with a few personal alterations. The thick smooth ganache accompanies the gooey, fugdey brownies perfectly.
