Gourmet Valentines S’mores
Looking for a cute Valentines dessert that’s simple and quick to make, requires only a handful of ingredients, sounds fancy and tastes awesome? Make room for Gourmet Valentines S’mores with six delicious layers of gooey, s’morey goodness. You might think this is a bit of a cop out, but it’s Monday morning, people! No one wants to be reading 17,543,846 instructions on how to bake a super-fancy cake when they could be shoving s’mores in their mouth, right?
Everyone loves s’mores but they’re not exactly a classy, romantic dessert that you’d serve on Feb 14th, are they? Now I’m not going to lie – these are still super-gooey and crumble as soon as you take a bite (which is why there aren’t any pretty pictures of a s’more with a perfectly-shaped bite taken out!) but when they’re this easy and yummy, who really cares?
Total Time: 5 minutes
Yield: 1 s\'more
Ingredients
- 2 Graham crackers/Digestives/other cookie
- 1 strawberry, sliced
- 1 marshmallow (pink if you can get it!)
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon Nutella
Instructions
- Spread a layer of Nutella on the base of your cookie.
- Top with slices of strawberry.
- Spread a layer of peanut butter on the other cookie.
- Top with a marshmallow.
- Microwave for around 20 seconds or until the marshmallow poofs up and turns all gooey.
- Sandwich the two cookies together and enjoy!
